This pretty sketch is our challenge over on Flourishes blog. I used this gorgeous new stamp from the

The pretty papers are from the Sweet Nothings paper pack. These papers are gorgeous! The pretty die cut is from Marianne designs. I edged all the pieces with a gold pen and added some ferns, leaves and flower from Prima. The butterfly is from a MS punch.

Hearts and roses valentine

This pretty heart shaped card is for the sweethearts challenge over on Cheery Lynn Blog. I used the backing plate that come with the heart to heart doily set. There are the cut out dies and then solid dies for backing on the two largest hearts. For the center heart I used the smaller size from that set and just drew around it and made my own backing plate. I ran the top piece thru my vagabond with the 5x7 heart cuttlebug folder and using the brayer and Victorian velvet distressed in I made the Belleek background. The sentiment is from Flourishes new release. I added some leaves and ferns from a MS punch and some pretty little roses from Prima to finish the card. New Marianne dies

These new Marianne dies are just gorgeous!! I used the Anja Corner but forgot to "emboss" it first before I cut them and I had already pulled the die off the first corner when I realized this. This is for the "new dies" challenge on Marianne Diva's blog. I used the Lace Circle die for the center and added a scalloped circle die from spellbinders to stamp the image on. I colored this beautiful basket of tulips from Flourishes with copic markers and edged it with a silver pen. I'm also entering this in the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge this week, show us your style.

Our challenge on ODBD is to use pink and white, I'm using the Belleek technique again for the background with TH victorian velvet distressed ink. Pink silk paper and spellbinders scalloped and straight hearts for the die cuts. The saying is from ODBD Kind Hearts collection. I added some mother of pearl peel off borders and flower and leaves from Prima.

Just Rite For the Love

I love this new rose flower set from the Sympathy set from Just Rite Stamps. I used the backing plate from Cheery Lynn Designs hearts die set, it doesn't show the backing plate but it comes with this set. I used the scalloped heart from Spellbinders to stamp my image on and colored it with copics. I added the saying and trimmed everything in a silver pen. I punched some leaves and ferns from a Martha Stewart punch to finish this card.

Prayers for Rose

My wonderful sweet little old neighbor has been in the hospital and is recovering at her daughters now and I wanted to send a card to her. I used the new sympathy and prayers set from Just Rite Stamps for this card and used the Split Coast Belleek technique to make the background for this. I know the Belleek is suppose to be more like taupe and cream but her eyesight is not as good as it use to be so I chose the tumbled glass distress ink for this instead. I added some pearls and ribbon and the die cut is the custom die from Just Rite that matches this set of stamps and the border stamp which I chose not to use. I colored the roses with copics, remember when you refill your copics only fill them about 1/2 to 2/3 full, I had to grab a paper towel and let mine drip because I got them too full and they were bleeding all over the place.

Center step Belleek Valentine

One of the challenges that I made this card for is the center step card challenge on Flourishes blog. I started the card with Stardream white gold card stock, it's a gorgeous cream with gold shimmer. I inked up my Cuttlebug for the layers with Antique linen distressed ink and ran it thru the machine. This is for the Technique challenge on Split Coast which is to make a card like Belleek pottery. This beautiful heart stamp is From the heart set from Flourishes latest release. I stamped it with Antique Linen and cut it out with the spellbinders straight heart die, they fit this image perfectly. I edged all the layers with a Krylon 18k gold pen and then added some peel off lace and pearls along the bottom and some pretty flowers, butterflies from Michaels. The leaves and ferns are punched out of the white gold CS with a MS punch, and then I added some antique linen ink on them. The letters are gold glitter letters from Michaels. I'm also entering this into the Heart Challenge at Stampin Sisters in Christ.

Our challenge this week at Stampin Sisters in Christ is make a heart the focal point on our card. I just received this gorgeous new heart from Flourishes and couldn't wait to play. The saying is part of this new set. This beautiful Sweet nothings paper is from the 123 Create at Flourishes also and I love this whole paper pack. I used one of the papers in the pack and stamped the gorgeous heart on it. Then I colored it with a copic maker RV34. I used spellbinders heart die to cut it out and then added the spellbinders heart circle die under it. The butterflies and bottom heart border are a MS punch. Added some pearls to the butterflies to finish them.

Our challenge on Our Daily Bread Design blog is a sketch. The saying is from each minute sayings. I used some gorgeous adhesive backed fabric from JoAnn's for the DP. I ran the brown panel through cuttlebug . The die cuts are from Marianne Designs. I used some gold peel off borders and a gold pen. I made a double bow from satin ribbon and added some pearls to finish the card.

Our challenge this week on Timeless Tuesday is to make a box. I used Flourishes lace heart which I love and my new stamps for this month are on their way. I used some pretty paper from Michaels and lace around the edges. The pretty heart die cut is the
Americana heart. The pretty Victorian flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs. I used some prima flowers and leaves on top of the flourish. I added some heart want 2 scrap bling to finish the card.

Well this card is NOTHING like I had in mind when I started it. I looked at several of the challenges this week and decided to try and incorporate several into this card and then went looking for paper to start with. I"m always stamping and coloring my image and then trying to find paper to go with it so I thought I would chose the paper first this time. The map of the Earth is from Kaiser Craft Vintage Timeless 6.5x6.5. Since I'm using my new stamps from Just Rite and their color challenge this week is beige, brown, teal and aqua I figured I may as well use those colors again. The saying on the outside is from their sympathy set and I used the matching die cut around it. I used copper peel off borders and some new pearls and rhinestones from Michaels to jazz it up some. I cut a 1.5" square and turned it on the diamond and cut the asymmetrical corners. I will add the inside of the card under my description.   This is going to these challenges Just Rite

Our word play challenge on Our Daily Bread is Winter, we were to chose at least three of the letters and use something related in our card. For the card I used The good seeds (W)ords, with the border stamp, memento black (I)nk, (N)estability for ODBD custom die cut, a cuttlebug dots (E)mbossing folder. I added some pretty flourishes by Spellbinders and green and gold ferns from a MS punch with a couple of teal prima flowers. I colored the pearls with copic markers for the corner. I edged the die cut and DP with a gold pen and used a Sissex border punch along the left edge.

Just Rite color challenge #2

This is another card for the pretty color challenge at Just Rite.
I just received this new gorgeous with sympathy set of clear sets. I used a spellbinders oval to cut out the image and then used the matching JR die cut for the border. The sentiment is stamped on a scalloped long oval from Spellbinders and K&Co paper was used for the saying and the background. Copics used for the flower and leaves, BG72 and I made my own lighter version of that number by mixing some refill ink and blender together. Leaves are YG63.

Just Rite Inspiration challenge

Our challenge for the Just Rite blog is a gorgeous picture of creams, teals, and browns. For this card I used the gorgeous Shabby Chic labels 4 stamp set with labels 4 matching die from Spellbinders. I stamped the image on White Gold prism paper and sponged Caribbean blue around it. The doily die cut is French pastry from Cheery Lynn Designs and I finished the card with paper from Close to my heart and ribbon and bling from Michaels. The flowers and green leaves are prima and the gold ferns are a Martha Stewart punch on gold mirror card.

Flourishes is having a noon time challenge for the previews to their new release. I used their wonderful from the Desk set for this. Marianne cut and emboss folder and some ribbon. The card is actually pink, scan wants to make it red!! Everything is done to match the milled lavender distressed ink.

Our challenge today at Flourishes is to use the reds, orange and pinks. I used their darling cupcake stamp to match the cute paper from doodlebug designs. Colored the cupcakes with copics and then used the pretty Cheery Lynn frame behind it. I took some red peel off borders to edge things and added some prima flowers and leaves. Beautiful borders is the theme for the Cheery Lynn challenge this week. I LOVE Cheery Lynn dies, they are made in America and they really cut well. I used this gorgeous Heartland America heart with the background heart behind it. The ribbon border was used along the bottom with some soft yellow ribbon thru it. I added some tiny hearts from the cut out and some pretty pink heart gems to finish it. The Be Mine is from Michaels sheets of glitter letters.

Our challenge on Our Daily Bread Design blog is to use something new and old. I chose this new
Garden of Love die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs for my new and the saying is from Serve from ODBD for my old. The shape of the card is scalloped cove rectangle from Cheery Lynn Designs and the stacker flower at the bottom is from CL. The heart in the center is a scalloped heart from Spellbinders and I have the cuties flowers from CL on my wish list so I used some heart gems in the center of the flowers for now. Have you seen those cuties and the video on how to make your own flowers, they are fabulous.

I made this card for the Beauty of Bling on Flourishes blog. This gorgeous sweet pea stamp set was perfect for this. The cuttlebug Brocade window cut and emboss folder was used for the front panel. The sweet pea image was stamped and colored with copic markers and attached to the back of the opening. I added some gold pen around the inside and lots of bling from Michaels with gems. The pretty silk ribbon bow is from Flourishes.

Timeless Tuesday Tri Fold challenge

This pretty Tri Fold card is for the challenge on Flourishes blog. I used the darling birds from the Snow Wonderful set and colored them with copics. I cut them out by hand and then used the matching key hole die around them and on the front of the card. I used some broken china distress ink to color the background like a sky. I edged it all with a gold pen and added some bling with a MS fern punch and the bird was a white glittered dove and I colored it with a copic marker. Our challenge at Our Daily Bread Design Blog is anything goes as long as you use ODBD stamps. I chose this gorgeous Daffodil corner and colored it with copics. The words are from the Mother Day set. I also used the daffodil corner on the inside of the card. The beautiful shape of the card is from Cheery Lynn coved corner die set. The sentiment is on the inside of Spellbinders Twisted Metal tag set.

Fuzzy birds

I LOVE this new stamp set from Flourishes, I think these little birds look so fluffy and all ready for cold weather. I cut them out by hand and then used the custom die for the border. The beautiful Dutch doily frame is from Cheery Lynn dies and so are the
pine branches. I colored the image with copic markers and then sponged some distressed ink around them to look like the sky.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, telescope card

Flourishes challenge this Tuesday is to make a telescoping card. I used their paper whites flower set and colored it with copics. Spellbinders labels 20 for the die cuts. Paper is from my stash and I added some bling from Michaels. The corners were cut with a MS border punch and some gems added.

Opposites attract is the theme for this challenge on Flourishes blog. We were to use the same stamp set for two totally different looks. For this card I'm using their stamp set, Christmas Candles and this card is made into a birthday card. I used their key hole die cut for the shape around the candle, then I traced the outer edge to make the backing for it. The beautiful Victorian flourish and leaf flourish are from
Cheery Lynn. The fern is a MS punch and the rose is from Prima. Background paper is adhesive fabric paper from JoAnn's. I colored the image with copic markers and added some stickles.
For my Christmas card I used the same stamp and die cut, added some holly leaves from a MS punch and the spellbinders poinsettia. Colored the image with copic markers and added glitter to the hurricane and candle. I used a pre-made bow and ribbon to finish the card.

Well it's almost Christmas and I totally forgot I had the spellbinders poinsettia die. I found it today when I was cleaning up my table and decided I better make a card. The poinsettia and leaf is from Spellbinders, the Victorian flourish and holly branch are from
Cheery Lynn designs. The corners are done with a MS border punch beaded arches, just cut 1.5" squares and then turn them point to point like a diamond and cut in half, drop the straight end into the border punch and trim the ends and you have beautiful corners. I'm using this for a quick Christmas card for the challenge at
Joan's Garden blog.

This wonderful sketch is from Our Daily Bread Design blog. I started out with a 5x7 green card, then added a piece of soft yellow and ran it through the musical 5x7 cuttlebug folder. The red scalloped DP is from my stash and I used a scalloped XL cove rectangle stacker from Cheery Lynn Designs, edged with a gold pen. The green die is a Spellbinders label 21, I stamped the musical background from ODBD on this and edged it in gold. The holly inverted circle is from Spellbinders, I cut it out of cardboard and then added the DP from K&Co over it, edged it in gold also. The holly leaves are a Martha Stewart punch and I edged them in gold, added some dark red gems. The flower was white and I used a copic R39 garnet to color it and the center pearl is colored with Y8 bright yellow. The spellbinders fancy tag was cut out of yellow and edged with gold, the wishing you warm wishes for a bless Christmas season from Our Daily Breads Warm wish set. Cheery Lynn Flower challenge

The challenge on Cheery Lynn blog this week to make a flower using their dies. I used their Stacker Flower #5 to make the flowers and then you use the pretty circles to cut them out in the sizes. You can watch their video on making these flowers, they are really easy. The card shape is french flair and the leaves and ferns are also from Cheery Lynn. I edged the papers and flowers and some of the leaves with a gold pen to highlight them and a yellow gem for the center of the flower. This beautiful cut and emboss folder is from Marianne, I used pretty white silk paper which has a sheen to it and some detailing on it. The 3-D flower image is from my stash and I think I got it on Etsy. I hand cut the images and layered them with pop dot tape. Peel off holographic borders in pink from

The gorgeous heart dies are two layered, the largest one is Heart to Heart Doily the smaller one is
Heartland America. the beautiful background paper is from JoAnn's and it's an adhesive fabric paper. I edged it with gold peel off borders from Pop up templates and added some pearls, a heart gem, flower and leaves from Michaels. I knew the minute I saw these gorgeous lacey heart dies that this heart stamp was going to be perfect for these.

Craft Secrets glitz

Our challenge this week is to use glitz on our card. I love this adorable image from Crafty Secrets Christmas Journal. I used a new Cheery Lynn Victoria Garden frame over pink card stock for the image. framed it with gold mirror card and a rope of pearls from Michaels. The border die is Border carnivale and I cut it out of gold mirror card. I also added a rope of pearls along the bottom and a few pearls in the flowers. The glittered snowflakes are from Michaels. Winter window

Our challenge on the Creative Belli blog is to do something wintery. When I got this window die cut from
Our daily bread design I knew I wanted to use it with the scenic stamps. I trimmed one the bars out of the window so you could see the cabin better. The cabin is from Stampscapes and the mountains are from Sutter.
I colored the image with copic markers and added some MS fern with red gems from Michaels. I used a cuttlebug on the background.

A little tag for the holidays

The challenge on Joan's Garden this week is to make a tag. I started out by using a Martha Stewart around the page punch of Aspen snowflakes. All other dies are Cheery Lynn. The holly, ferns and leaves and the sleigh are all part of the Christmas release from Cheery Lynn. The circle is part of the flower dies and I just used the outside ring. This darling snow globe and Santa image is from the newest release from Flourishes. Our challenge for this month on the blog is use something Santa. I stamped the globe and Santa with memento black and colored them with copic markers. Added some diamond stickles for glitz. The background paper is Melissa Frances and I used the French flair dies from Cheery Lynn for the card shape. A little ribbon and bling and it's done. This beautiful peace die cut is from Cheery Lynn. I used the glitter technique on their video over green mirror card. The leaves and ferns under the bird are also from Cheery Lynn and the bird is from Marianne designs die cuts. I added some lace under the die cut and finished the bird with a red gem for his eye. Cheery Lynn bouquet

I cut several of each of the leaf flourish and ferns and cut a leaf die apart to fill in. The vase is from Flower soft and the roses are little prima ones. The paper is from my stash and I spritzed it with Tattered Angels pearl spray and edged it with a gold pen. Our challenge at Creative Belli this week is leaves or autumn cards. This pretty glittered lattice die cut is from Cheery Lynn Designs. The lattice die was cut out of white card stock then I used the video tutorial from Cheery Lynn on spraying it with adhesive, glittered it and then sprayed again with a sealer. This fanciful leaf flourish is also from Cheery Lynn. Mike has a video on his site about glittering these dies, it's with the glittered flower video. The pretty sunflower wreath is from Flourishes and I colored it with copic markers. The sentiment tag is from Spellbinders and I used a peel off saying. Our challenge this week on Stampin Sisters in Christ is to be thankful. This pretty new scrolled vine background stamp from Just Rite stamps is perfect for that. I used a fancy tag from Spellbinders and the matching Want 2 Scrap pearls. The butterfly and leaves are from Michaels. Distressed tea dye ink was used and copper peel off thank you. This pretty metallic cream, gold and burgundy card is for the challenge on Our Daily Bread Design blog. This Christmas Door set is so versatile. I stamped in versamark, embossed in gold and added some burgundy touches to it with copic markers. I used the
coved scalloped rectangle XL stacker dies from Cheery Lynn to cut out the shapes. The cute sleighs are from the sleigh border die and I colored them with copics. I colored the glittered snowflakes with a copic marker to match and some ribbon from Michaels to finish the card. 18K gold pen used to edge everything. Our challenge is red, white and green, I added a touch of blue in the ornaments. This beautiful image is from A gift for you collections. It matches Spellbinders labels 14 and 15. I stamped and colored this with Spica glitter pens, added the Want 2 Scrap bling and lots of bling from Michaels. The paper is from my stash. Trimmed the die cuts in gold pen and gold peel off corners to finish the card.

Belli Challenge Paper Piercing

Our challenge on Belli this week is paper piercing. I used a 4 prong needle to cut out the image. I embossed the frame and candle stamp in gold. Colored with memento markers on the vellum. Flourishes, Beauty of a Fold

This pretty center fold card is for the challenge on Flourishes
I used a Martha Stewart punch for the edges and the 5x5" square, Cheery Lynn Designs stacked doily, scalloped circle and fern dies. I stamped and gold embossed this all time favorite image of the doves in gold on Poison Ivory paper and sponged tea dye distressed ink around all pieces. A tag for many challenges

I made this tag for several challenges. Cheery Lynn is a tag, Crafty Secrets is Thankful or thank you, Learn a new technique is NO stamps. I used a ready made tag, covered it with Prima Annalee papers, trimmed to fit, then added 3 different laces. I used the Cheery Lynn leaves and stacker flower 5. then I trimmed them with the classic stacker. I added a gem to the center of the flower. The Merci Beau-coup is from Crafty Secrets heartwarming vintage stickers French Labels. Added some fluff to finish the tag. Mark's Finest Papers Speedy TV, Ribbon challenge

Our Challenge today on Speedy TV is to use ribbon on our card. This beautiful image is from Mark's finest papers. I used the spellbinders ornament 2010 die cut and stamped the beautiful french horn from last years Christmas stamps and colored with Spica glitter pens. I distressed the edges with TH old paper. Marianne cut and emboss folder with gold mirror card behind it, gold ribbons and red gems with green ribbon trees by May Arts Ribbon to finish the card. This beautiful medallion is a new set from Just Rite Stamps. The blog challenge is to make a thank you card. The Thank you is from an older set. I used the scalloped circle dies from Cheery Lynn and the center die cut around the medallion is from Marianne dies. Added some bling to finish the card. The pink layer was fun thru the cuttlebug with the Kassie folder.

I made this for the Just Rite challenge, give thanks. I used the pretty Kindness set. I stamped it in Victorian Velvet distressed ink, cut with Labels 20. Another labels 20 was used for the background and ran it thru the cuttlebug. The pretty paper is new, adhesive fabric paper from JoAnn's and some pretty ribbon, pearls, flowers and leaves finished the card.

Our challenge on Our Daily Bread Design is to use your favorite sentiment or make a card with a sentiment on it. Unfortunately I need a sympathy card today for a friend, her mom died very suddenly. I love this cross set from ODBD and it works so well with the spellbinders cross die cuts. I embossed it in gold and then antiqued it with old paper distressed ink. The sentiment is from The Heartfelt Sympathy set.
I embossed it in gold and used the oval spellbinders behind both the image and sentiment. I added a leaf flourish from Cheery Lynn designs and the gorgeous paper is something new, fabric on paper, the texture is fantastic and it's so pretty. I got the paper at JoAnn's. Our challenge today at Flourishes is to make something landscape, let it snow is the theme. You can tell they are in Florida and don't have to shovel the stuff, LOL I used their gorgeous tree and stamped it in Forest Moss distressed ink. The Kiwi oval frame is from Cherry Lynn
the pretty holly lace flourish is also from Cheery Lynn. I added some tiny red gems for berries on the holly and some snow flakes from Michaels. The background paper is from JoAnns. This gorgeous wreath is from Flourishes, I have a feeling it may be discontinued but they have some gorgeous Christmas stamps and a set of seasonal wreaths also. I stamped in memento black and colored with copics. I highlighted the berries with god and red stickles. The round scalloped die cut to make the card is from Cheery Lynn, the doily is from Marianne designs, another circle from Cheery Lynn to stamp the wreath on. Did you know you can make shaped cards with any die cut machine, just cut the paper 6x12 and fold in half, set the die cut about 1.25" above the fold and run it through the machine. The sketch is for Priscilla's Midnight Madness. This beautiful collage is from Our Daily bread Design. I used distress inks and carefully colored the large stamp with Tea Dye and forest moss. I added a MS holly leaf border to the bottom and then some satin ribbon and peel off lace border. Oval scalloped die cut with a gold peel off. I used paper from K&Co and trimmed everything with a gold pen. A few green gems and gold Spica pen and Diamond stickles finished the card. I used 1 piece of DP, it actually has some soft writing on it but doesn't show in the scan. 2 die cuts, the doily is from Cheery Lynn, the octagon die is spellbinders. 3 leaves around the flower and 4 peel off corners were used to finish the card. Stampscapes Retreat

I spent a couple of days at a Stampscapes retreat for scenic stamping. There was about 12 of us that stamped our hearts out for 3 days and had a fabulous time. Meeting new friends and seeing old ones is always so much fun. All of the stamps on these pictures are Stampscapes and I colored and airbrushed with copic markers on cryogen white paper. The fog is done with a memories white ink and stylus and sponge.

In case you can't tell I LOVE this new Christmas Rose stamp from Our Daily Bread Design. Our challenge on ODBD is holiday this week so I just had to use this gorgeous flower again. I stamped it Memento black and colored it with copics.I stamped a second one and colored just the center flower and cut it out and popped it up for dimension. The scalloped oval and beaded oval are Spellbinders and the gorgeous border which I cut two of and laid them back to back is from Cheery Lynn. I added some double edged lace over the seam and used the remaining pieces of the border to cut two corners. This card is also being used for the Stampin Sisters in Christ (2) of everything card. Our challenge on Split Coasts Crafty Secret forum is make a card with something from nature on it. This beautiful image is from the Birds and Botanical booklet. I ran the layer through my cuttlebug cut and emboss folder and put the image behind the oval. Added lots of prima leaves, MS fer punch and prima flower. The birds are a MS punch. Gold holographic peel offs around the edges finished the card.

Today's Our Daily Bread Design Blog is featuring a big sale on the Christmas stamps from previous years. I decided to get out my ornaments from last year and play. I used the snowflake swirl background for this card, stamped in blue distress ink on white cryogen paper. Added a silver pen around the edges and also on the blue layer behind it. The card edges are trimmed with holographic silver peel off borders. I used a spellbinders fancy tag with matching Want 2 scrap pearls, embossed the saying in white. The ornament is stamped in white and embossed in white on light blue prisma paper and then I hand cut the die around the outside to give it a darker blue backing. Our challenge this week on Flourishes blog is to use something metal on our card. I think I went a little over on this one. The base card is shimmer Bazzil card stock, 6x6 card. The background paper is from Bo Bunny, midnight frost collection. I added some metallic gold/white borders around that. I cut a piece of blue mirror card 5x5 and then used the MS around the page punch. I stamped the beautiful medallion from Flourishes in white pigment ink and carefully heat set it. I added the metallic/mother of pearl corners and some pretty leaves and flower.

I ordered this set from the UK, Stempleglede vintage garden is the name and it was very hard to find. It's so pretty and delicate. I colored with copic markers and sponged some soft blue around the edges after cutting it out with a spellbinders label. I added some pretty DP and ribbon and pearls for the trim. I'm also using these gorgeous zinnia's for the fall color challenge that I used on the Timeless Tuesday challenge. I love these flowers and they are so easy to color as most of the Flourishes flower stamps are fabulous to work with. I stamped and colored them with copic markers and cut them out with Spellbinders labels. I added a Cheery Lynn leaf flourish and some bling at the corners. The pretty DP is from K&Co and I did try the technique on Laura's blog on the left side but it doesn't show up on the scan. The challenge on MFP is to have polka dots on your card, this paper was perfect for this. The cute fox and pumpkin stamp are from the Sept release Autumn Glory. I colored it with copics and added some sponged sky and grass. Spellbinders die cuts and MS border punch on the corners. Matching die tutorial

Have you purchased any of the stamps with matching spellbinders dies yet. I love them but hated trying to use them. Every time I tried to do the masking thing it never worked quite right. My friend Sandy Hulsart came up with a much better way to do this in my opinion. Step one is cut out the die cut on your paper and set it aside. Step two is line up your stamp a ma jig, I got mine at Michaels. It has a square piece of plastic and you stamp on the shinny side. The rough side is to keep it from slipping on your paper. I'm left handed so I do mine this way but anyway you line it up is fine. Step 3 place your stamp on the block or use a wood mounted stamp and ink it up.

Step 4 is place the block into the corner of the Stamp a ma jig and stamp on the piece of plastic.

Step 5 is place a piece of REMOVABLE scotch tape on the backside of the die cut and stick it down on your stamping surface, I'm using black paper just so it shows up on this. I get my removable tape at Michaels in the tape section.

Now I have the ornament taped down and I have the stamped image placed over it exactly where I want it. Line up the corner of the stamp a ma jig and then carefully remove the plastic. Now place the block or stamp into that corner and press down on top of the die cut, it should stamp it perfectly.

Now you are finished and you have a perfectly placed stamp over the top of your die cut. I know this sounds like a lot of fussing but it actually is very quick and easy. It only takes about 2 minutes or so once you get the hang of it. I hope this helps some of you with these new matching die cuts from Spellbinders. Just a quick note, some of the companies use Cheery Lynn dies and they come with a clear acrylic template to use which is much easier to line up. Have a great day, thanks for stopping by.

Joan's Garden. We were to use Nature as a theme, several layers, glitter and one of the Around the page punches by Martha Stewart or any other punch. This beautiful stamp set is from Heartfelt Creations Spring Birdies set and I stamped in memento black, colored with copics and then added stickles to the images. I used some pretty DP from my stash and then layered everything with black to accent it. The around the page punch is from Martha Stewart and the oval is spellbinders. This wonderful moose scene is from their newest release for October and I'm giving you a sneak peek!! I colored it with copic makers. The DT sisters are listed on the right side of my blog and please be sure to check out their gorgeous work. I cut the ribbon border with a Cheery Lynn die and the tag and ovals are spellbinders. Heartfelt ornament and Bo Bunny paper

I gold embossed this pretty ornament from Heartfelt creations and matched it with the spellbinders die for the 2011 ornament die. The pretty paper is from last years bo bunny Noel mini edgy album paper pad. It matches the french flair die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs. I colored the poinsettia with a memento marker and sponged peel paint and shabby shutters on the ornament. Merry Christmas is stamped in Shabby Shutters. Gold peel off borders finished the card.

Heartfelt Creations Christmas Angel and Candle

This new Heartfelt Creations Angel is so pretty and elegant. It also has a matching die cut. I stamped it with Distressed sugar spun ink, then I took pearls and lined the spellbinder die. The saying is part of this set and I used the fancy tag with the matching Want 2 scrap. Cuttlebug background and I sponged Spun Sugar over it. Added some holographic white peel off border. Heartfelt Creations poinsettia ornament

This is the new poinsettia ornament from Heartfelt Creations. It matches the 2011 spellbinders collection. I stamped and gold embossed the ornament and then colored with memento markers. The gold die cut behind it and the leaves are a Marianne die cut and the bottom flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs. I'm entering this into the Marianne Diva's challenge to use a flower on your card, this gorgeous poinsettia and leaves are from Michaels. I added some gold mirror ferns from a MS punch and some tiny yellow gems to finish the card.

Stampscapes Ornament

I cut the ornament out of Cryogen white paper and stamped the Stampscapes scene on it. I added a few little trees to the edge to make it fit and some pebbles in the water to finish the water down to the point, I colored it with copic markers and added some stickles to the water, and white dots to the sky. I took a black marker and edged it, added the velvet bow and the DP is from last years Bo Bunny Christmas paper.
