Our challenge this week on Joan's Garden is a round box. I covered the box with DCW French country stack papers. I took the Anastasia border and cut three of them to finish the top of the bottom of the box. I added a little of the victorian velvet distressed ink to the edge of the border. For the top I used a coordinating piece of paper and a strip of plain around the edge. I taped ribbon around it and added a double line of pearls. The top (see below) I used a prima flower over the beautiful Nautical Wheeler doily from Cheery Lynn Designs and started layering flourishes and leaves around the flower. I cut several fanciful flourishes and then cut them up to fit around the flower. I used pine branches and olive branches to accent the flower. I added some pearls and flowers from Michaels to finish the top. You can get these die cuts from Joan's Garden as well as Cheery Lynn.
