This was made using a Sutter scenic stamp and I cut out the valentine with a nestability from Spellbinders. Copics to color it and cuttlebug background,.
Fourishes timeless tuesday is calling for "P" so I used purples, they really match in real life, punches, pearls on this card. This is from one of their new sets also. I love these stamps and the sayings are so nice, they are small and will also fit into the tags from Spellbinders.
Priscilla's blog has the layout for this weeks challenge. Hop over there to take a look at the DT's cards, just wonderful ideas. I used some new papers from Laura Ashley's old fashioned velvet flocking. Added the roses, they really match in real life and the corners and bling. The papers in this collection are gorgeous and all very vintage.
These cards were made with the Mariposa paper pack from JoAnn's. I love that pack and they are on sale now. The butterflies are painted and glittered. The rose is a 3-D decopauge dufex paper that shimmers. Thanks for looking!
This Easel card was made for the Thursday challenge over at Impression Obsession's Blog. I embossed it in gold and then used the edge of teh stamp to go around the edges. Fancy pants DP and some embellishments. The pink card was made using strips of K&Co new valentine papers and the idea came from the Spellbinders newsletter. I stamped and embossed the heart from Flourishes on this and then added some bling. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful stamping weekend.
I made this card today for the interactive challenge on Split Coast. I used this pretty heart stamp, the saying is separate, not sure who makes the heart, I should have put the company on the back of it. Embossed in gold and copics to color it. The papers are from K&Co's new valentine book.
Be sure and stop by Priscilla's Midnight Madness blog and see the gorgeous cards on there. It's always such a treat to the creations they come up with. I used a stamp from Impression Obsession for this card and some new Valentine papers from K&Co that were on sale at Michaels.
I used a crafty secret image and printed it several time to make this pyramid card. I had some problems with a couple of my layers and didn't use them. Here is a link to the spellbinders blog that has the tutorial on it and a video of how to do this and her card is just gorgeous. It was fun and I think they are so pretty layered like this.
Check out Priscilla's midnight madness sketch challenge this week and see all the great cards created over there. Every week there are amazing creations by her team. I used the new flowers of the year by Flourishes for this card.
This was made for the Timeless Tuesday challenge sketch on Flourishes newsletter. The daffodil image is from Flourishes, copics to color it. The edging and butterflies are peel offs.
This card is another Valentine with Flourishes heart stamp. The saying is from My sentiments exactly and the cute corners are part of a Close to my heart stamp. Lots of bling on it to embellish.
I used The Glitter Girls embossing board and border to make this card. The tag is Spellbinders. The pretty little embellishments are from JoAnns and Michaels.
I posted a birdhouse card yesterday that I enterd into the contest at Impression Obsession's challenge and I won a $25 gift certificate to shop with. Of course you know you can't just find two stamps you like, you always find more, LOL Thanks so much to the team over there and check out their blog, they have contests every two week.
Flourishes challenge today is about "love". After seeing Stacy's card on the blog with her gorgeous baby blue I knew I wanted to do this card for my hubby. Heart and saying are from Flourishes and I used all beige, tans and browns.
Impression Obsession is having a fun challenge today and blog candy!! I used Springtime Birdhouse G1644 for this challenge. I stamped in memento black ink and copics to color. Mustard and teal papers, MS punch on the corners and the bird, some gems on the corners. I sponged some light blue around the birdhouse but it's not showing very well on the scan.
Our daily bread design challenge 110 today was to use browns and some die cuts or punches. I used the stamps from Quiet Waters on this card. I colored with copics and some memento ink to distress the edges. I used the copper pen to color the pearl and a copper cross. Thanks for stopping by and check out the other card on their blog.
The Spellbinders blog DT had some sneak peeks today for the new dies coming out. I loved what one of the gals did with ribbons and the new Easter eggs which will be released at the end of the month. I tried it with my heart nestabilities and it works pretty well. It would be much easier with the straight edge hearts than these scalloped ones though. I ran paper thru the zyron and then laid the ribbons on it, ran it thru the wizard several times and then trimmed the heart out to get the little edges etc. Martha Stewart heart border punch and some embellishements.
I made this today for the Split Coast sketch challenge. I used Rubber stamp Tapestry stamps on this with memento inks. Some prettys and a gold pen to edge things with.
Someday I need to learn to read correctly, I was suppose to use "their" colors which I didn't for the challenge on Flourishes blog. Oh well back to the drawing board but I still like the card, LOL
This valentine was made for Priscilla's midnight madness sketch this week. I used the heart stamp from Flourishes and the saying is from my sentiments. The cuttlebug was done on the coredinations white washed paper and sanded off. Marvy ink and in real life (irl) it does match the papers perfectly. LOL
I spent several hours this weekend reorganizing my unmounted scenic stamps. We do get togethers a few times a year and I wanted to organize them by category and not company. I played with some new sutter stamps, and new Beeswax ones. I like them both but I love the castle one from Beeswax, I love vintage anything! Copics to color them and airbrush them on cryogen paper. Hope everyone had a great New Years and thanks so much for all the comments and support thru last year.
I'm a stay at home wife, mother and rubber stamping fanatic. As a former hairdresser, medical secretary and Chamber of commerce secretary I am enjoying staying home and creating cards now.
