I made this pretty Sympathy for a friend who lost her brother the past week.  I"m entering it into the challenge on Just Rite Blog.   I started this card with a 5x7 pale green back and then added a Tuffted Cling background stamp and layered that on a matching paper which are both from Maja papers.  I used the matching Vintage labels seven die for the image and backing and the pretty roses are from the With Sympathy clear set of stamps.  I colored them with copics in RV colors and finished the card with a triple bow and pearls.

Just Rite Sketch Challenge

I did this card for the Just Rite Sketch Challenge.   I stamped the pretty Floral Flourishes background stamp in Victorian Velvet distressed ink.  Trimmed it with a gold pen.  I cut a rectangle layer out of the pink textured cardstock and trimmed it in gold also.  I used the inverted scalloped oval from Cheery Lynn and used the gold pen on it as well.  I stamped the pretty poppies from the Poppies Label 29 set and colored them with copics.  I cut some rectangles and edged them in gold also and stamped the perfect miracle saying from  True Friends Vintage Label 4 set.  The pretty border across the bottom is a Martha Stewart wide punch and I added some prima leaves, flower and pearls to finish the card.  I just love these new flowers by Just Rite and the pretty saying to go with them.

Just Rite Sketch and background stamp

The sketch was the challenge for Just Rite, I took some artistic liberty with it to use this gorgeous French rose background stamp.  I love this stamp and it's so easy to make a beautiful card with.  I stamped some extra and cut out the larger roses and pop dotted them and then added stickles over copics to color them.  I added some tea dye distressed ink around the edges and ribbon across the center and a double bow.  The sentiment is a peel off on the twisted metal tag from Spellbinders.  I edged the layers in gold pen.

Doily challenge, and many more

Our challenge this week at Cheery Lynn is to use doilies!!  I took this challenge very seriously, I started by cutting the French Pastry doily and using the Canadian Kaleidoscope and cutting it apart to make the oval on the top and bottom behind the French Pastry.  I then cut a standard circle from Cheery Lynn, laid it over the ribbon and stamped this pretty circle with a butterfly in the center from Botanical butterflies from  Classy Cards I cut an Exotic butterfly medium #2 and #3.    The butterfly #3 fit perfectly over the butterfly on the image. I added some gems to finish the butterflies.  The corners are the inside doily die that is part of the Polynesian Sails Oval and I cut it apart to make the corners.  The Fanciful flourish frames the doily and I added some prima flowers and a pearl stick pin.  Have you seen the beautiful flower dies from Cheery Lynn, they are next on my wish list, you can make gorgeous matching flowers with these dies!! Check them out!

Just Rite Happy Birthday

This beautiful rose stamp is from Just Rite's Sympathy set, the cute Birthday wishes is from the Topsy turvy cake set,  and I'm using this for their Happy Birthday challenge and Cheery Lynn's lots of layers challenge.
This card is made with the gorgeous French flair scalloped die set, then I layered the classic French flair and mixed those together.  I colored the flowers with copic markers in the BV colors and sponged Marvy violet around the edges.  I edged all the layers with an 18k gold pen and then added the bow and leaves and flowers and the cute little gem butterflies to finish the card.  The cuties and flowers from Cheery Lynn are on my wish list and I can't wait to get some so I can make my own flowers to match!!  I also am entering this into the Split Coast "best buds" interactive challenge this month, and Classy Cards N Such.

Just Rite color challenge #2

This is another card for the pretty color challenge at Just Rite.
I just received this new gorgeous with sympathy set of clear sets.  I used a spellbinders oval to cut out the image and then used the matching JR die cut for the border.  The sentiment is stamped on a scalloped  long oval from Spellbinders and K&Co paper was used for the saying and the background.  Copics used for the flower and leaves, BG72 and I made my own lighter version of that number by mixing some refill ink and blender together. Leaves are YG63.
