I made this card for the challenge on ODBD blog. We were to make a card that was not the standard shape. I used this template and their light house stamp and sayings to make this. This is just a sky photo and I used Marvy black ink to stamp on it.
I had a fun visit to my local scrapbook store the other day and picked up some new papers and some of the new prima flowers. They are gorgeous. The pink card is done with Prima papers and chipboard pieces, the blue card is K&Co with the new prima flowers also. Martha Stewart butterfly and nestabilities circle. The blue has a M.S. around the card punch used on it and the center piece is embossed with a cuttlebug. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
I thought I had posted this card last month but apparently not. I made 12 of these with my sister so she could send them to her friends for Valentines day. The recipe is behind the packet of chocolate. We used the spellbinders scalloped heart and some gorgeous papers and ribbons to tie them.
This card is for the Timeless Tuesday challenge today to use Flowers on it. I used two of the new sets from Flourishes for this card, copics to color them. I love the new sets from Flourishes this month. They remind us of spring and with all the snow and ice this year we need Spring!!!
We were suppose to choose a card that we admired from someone else. I chose the card on the home page of the blog from Our daily bread today. I used flower soft vase and the flower soft for the flowers. M.S. punch for the fence from "wood" paper and some ribbons and gems.
This card was made using Crafty secrets post card set, Best Buds. I added lots of bling with some new embellishments from the craft stores. The background paper is a soft green and from the paper pads from Crafty secrets also.
Impression Obsessions blog has a challenge every two weeks. This weeks challenge is to use one of their background stamps so I used their light house on a photo. I dowloaded this sky photo, stamped with archival black ink and on the larger photoscape I took a nib and added some marvy ink to some of the image. The second one has their flourish backgrounder with a smaller version of the photoscape. She does a random drawing for each challenge and a chance to win free merchandise so check it out.
Flourishes new stamps are just so much fun. Check out their blog. I stamped the background a few times and added a separate rose. Colored with copic markers and added the tea set and single rose is popped.
This card is for both challenges today, I just got these new stamps from Flourishes blog. This set is just gorgeous and so fun to play with. The layout is from Split coast sketch 268. check out both of these places as the cards are just gorgeous. Copics to color and my new papers from memory box gossamer.
I used one of my new Flower soft stamps on this card. Priscilla's blog today has this cute sketch on it also. I stamped in memento black and copics to color this image and also to color the flowers.
This card is for the Midnight madness challenge this week. Print paper is Anna Griffin maybe? Martha Stewart punches. Stop by to the see the gorgeous purse and card Priscilla made, I want some of that gorgeous paper she used!!!
Flourishes blog is having a "tea" challenge, well I don't like hot tea so I used the coffee saying with the set. LOL All stamps are from Flourishes, DP is from Martha Stewart and spellbinders for the die cuts. Thanks for stopping by and check out the wonderful cards over on the blog.
The challenge this week at Our Daily Bread Design's blog is use a heart. I used two sets of stamps for this card and only used part of the saying from Sing to the lord and the bird is from thier brand new set, He watches me. I cut the heart with my spellbinders wizard and used copics to color. The background is one of the new cuttlebugs and I used white washed Coordinations paper and a sanding block to pop the color thru.
After seeing Sherry Cheevers blog I had to try this. Using nestabilities and several copies of the same image I made these cards. No stamping invloved just lots of patience trying to get everything lined up correctly on each layer. The yellow flower one is from Twissted papers, they have gorgeous downloads that work well for this. Sherry has a video on her blog and some more samples of this.
These are the last two challenges today for the first year anniversary of the Timeless Tuesday over at Flourishes.
This has been fun and stop over there to see the design teams cards, they are fabulous!! The purple one is popped up on the pansies with some glitter glue in the center. Thanks so much for stopping by and happy stamping.
For the Flourish challenge today we were to use Pink on a card and then a Fruity birthday card. I am using all stamps from Flourishes and copics to color them.
Flourishes is celebrating one year of the Timeless Tuesday challenges, on this challenge we were to use one of our favorite Flourish sets. I love this heart and have used it often. Priscilla's Midnight madness blog gave me the layout to follow for this weeks challenge. Check out both of the awesome blogs as they have so much inspiration on them and of course I LOVE Flourishes stamps.
I'm a stay at home wife, mother and rubber stamping fanatic. As a former hairdresser, medical secretary and Chamber of commerce secretary I am enjoying staying home and creating cards now.
