Christine with Flourishes is having a birthday this week!!! I made this pretty card using Flourishes Dahlia set and fussy cut it out. I colored it with copics in V series, V15, V12 and V01 for the flowers, Y06 for the center of the flowers and YG 63 &67 for the leaves with a little of the Y06 on the ends. The fan is a Sissex die and then I ran it through a cuttlebug folder and sanded it to bring out the design. The paper for the fan is Shimmer Sheetz Mylar. I added some Cheery Lynn dies around the flower and leaves, mini fanciful flourishes, rose leaf strip and the shape is Cheery Lynn's French Flair. I used the oval inside from Flourishes
perfectly pierced oval and added a peel off saying.

Pink and White Roman Romance
I was playing some more with the shimmer sheets today and the Roman Romance embossing folder by Spellbinders. The embossed card front is on shimmery vellum and then I rubbed over it with ink. The bow was made from shimmer sheets and it doesn't have white spots on it in real life, I think it must be the lighting. The bow is a tutorial on Becca's Amazing paper grace blog and they are fun to do. I added a Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish and some glittery pearls. This gorgeous folder and shimmer sheets can be found at Joan's Garden.
Shimmer Sheets
I was playing with my new shimmer sheets from Joan's Garden. I ran the Cheery Lynn lace tree die through the vagabond and it didn't cut all the way through but that was ok, I just cut a shimmer vellum and layer it. I hand cut around the outside of the metal tree and kept all the pieces intact for the backing tree. The min Sophia heart doily behind and added some wreath strip flourishes and ready made poinsettia and gold peel off border and corners to finish the card.
Vintage Christmas
The Challenge on Cheery Lynn this week is Vintage. The card is 5x7 with the white silk paper cut 4.75x6.75 inches and trimmed in gold pen. I ran the white silk paper through with the poinsettia background plate and used tea dye distressed ink around the edge also. I used the lace Christmas tree and distressed it over the angel wing in green. I edged the tree in gold pen also. The top border is lace deco lights and I added some gems to bling it up. I used the mini fanciful flourish and holly leaves in green and gold with a few wreath strips around the leaves. The poinsettia is an old one from my stash and I can't wait to get the poinsettia strip from Cheery Lynn, it's much prettier. I added some bling to finish the card.

Christmas in pink and white
The challenge this week on Joan's Garden is to use pink and white, flowers, and flourishes. I used the image from Flourishes Colored it with Copics and the three die cuts in the background and around the image are Marianne dies. The center oval is a spellbinder. The pretty mini fanciful flourishes are from Cheery Lynn. I'm also entering this for the Christmas challenge at Marianne Design Divas. I just added a silk bow and prima flower to finish the card. The Marianne dies and Cheery Lynn can be ordered from Joan's Garden.

Our Daily Bread Fall Leaves
I made this cute card for the fall leaves challenge at Our Daily Bread Design. I LOVE their new stamps and matching dies, they have a different way of lining them up and it's so easy to use the dies with the red rubber stamps now. I used the new flower and pumpkin bundle and I colored it with copics and used the ODBD nested oval die to back the pumpkin and trimmed it in a gold pen. Spellbinders embossing folder and leaves and border from my stash.

World card making day at Our Daily Bread Design
I made this for the world card making day at Our Daily Bread Design. I used their gorgeous Large Ornament with the matching spellbinders die. I stamped the ornament twice, once on the red and then on white and colored it with copics and cut out the poinsettia and popped it up, added some yellow gems to the center and colored in the holly leaves with a spica pen and added some tiny red gems to the holly. The border is a Spellbinders majestic labels 25 and the bow is from Cheery Lynn. I edged the ornament with a gold pen and gold peel off borders around the card. Card size is 5x7.

Christmas with a twist, No red or green
I made this pretty scene for the challenge at Flourishes, no red or green colors. I used their gorgeous
Forest of trees set for this scene. I started with a 6x6.5 piece of glossy paper and used Mary inks and a stylus to color it. I punched a circle for the moon and used a spellbinder die to stamp the saying on.

Flourishes Paper Piecing
This is made for the paper piecing at Flourishes.
I stamped their Vintage Postcard stamp three times and colored it with copics. I cut out the oval in the center, popped it with pop dots and colored it and added all the snow and glitter, then I colored and cut out the trees and popped them as well. The holly leaves on the corner are from Cheery Lynn and the die cut behind is Spellbinders Enchanted labels 28. I added some pearl bling to finish the card.
