Featured stamper Darsie Bruno

The featured stamper on Split Coast this week is Darsie Bruno, check out her gorgeous card that I CASED!!  I changed several things but kept the layout and idea the same. My colors are different, and my embellishments are different.  Congrats Darsie, this is well deserved.  The beautiful heart die is the back plates from Cheery Lynn's  Heart to heart die set. The tiny heart is a spellbinders.  I used some pretty lace and ribbon from my stash and prima flowers and pearls to finish the card. The little saying is from the new Flourishes set.

Charleston Gardens Inspiration

Our challenge on Split Coast Inspiration challenge this week is to go to the Charleston Gardens website and choose something to case.  I chose this gorgeous pillow for my inspiration.  I'm using several ODBD design stamps to create this card.  The flower is from Happy Easter, the top right bird and sentiment are from You will find refuge, the bottom bird is from the
Sing to the lord set.
I distressed the edges with vintage photo ink and a copper pen.  MS butterfly punch with some pearls. The wheat is from Our Daily Bread set.

Secret Admirer for Our Daily Bread Design

Our challenge this week for the Shinning Light challenge is to "CASE" someone's card that inspires us.  Well Pat Smethers is a fabulous inspiration with her drop dead gorgeous cards.  I used the Mother's Day stamp set and one of the ODBD design custom Eternity stamp and die cut.  I had to use the larger one today because I have lost the size that fits their border?????  I'm sure I will find it placed in the wrong file someday.  I just colored the lines to make it look like I have layers on it.  Then I started adding die cuts, the leaf flourish and longer leaves are Cheery Lynn, the smaller leaves and ferns are a MS punch and prima flowers. I added some peel off lace which will soon be available from Flourishes to the edge with a gold peel off border.  I used a gold pen to edge the papers. I added some cute pearl stick pins that I think I got at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. The gorgeous new die cut along the left side is Anja edge from Marianne designs.   Here is a link to Pat's gallery on Split Coast stampers, be sure to check out the gorgeous creations!!!

Just Rite and Cherry Lynn

This beautiful rose and frame are from Just Rite's new sympathy set.  It also has the matching die.  I used the new Swedish Spring Oval Frame from Cheery Lynn to fame this pretty set.  The paper is from Flourishes newest Kaiser craft Sweet Nothings set.  I added a pretty silk bow and some pearls to finish the card. The corners are an EK corner punch. I'm also adding this to the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge.

FLLCFEB12, black/white and one other color

Our challenge this week is black/white and one other color, on Flourishes blog.  Well I was doing great until I realized the flowers had to have some leaves around them so I added the green leaves.  This love sweet love stamp set was perfect for that.  I just received this beautiful dutch doily frame from Cheery Lynn designs and I thought it fit with the red/white/black theme very well.  Obviously I cut one set from red and one from white and then trimmed them to match up.  The spellbinders label 1 worked for the image and backing on the front.  I used some red sparkle ribbon for the corners and bow and prima flowers and leaves from Michaels. I'm also entering this into the Priscilla's Midnight madness challenge.

New Marianne dies

I made this pretty card for the Marianne Divas blog.  I just received this corner and circle die the other day and love them!!!! I ordered mine from Sweet stamps, she carries a lot of the Marianne dies.  I used some K&Co paper and the Anja corner die and then trimmed it in gold pen.  I added some pearls to define it.  I used the pretty scalloped circle die with a spellbinders scalloped circle behind it and on top of it.  These dies are very intricate but they cut out nicely with my vagabond machine.  I stamped the beautiful cherry blossom stamp from Flourishes with memento black ink and colored it with copics in the BV000 and BV02.  I used the Krylon gold pen to edge everything with.  Be sure to check out the Marianne Divas blog and see the gorgeous creations on there.

Split Coast Everything Turquoise

Our challenge this week on Everything Turquoise over at SCS is a photo with these colors.  I used some K&Co paper and the gorgeous corner die in taupe is from Cheery Lynn.
The leaves and ferns are a MS punch and prima flower.  I used a 3.25x5 inch piece for the frame and a spellbinders die to cut out the center.  The saying is from Just Rite sympathy set released this month.  This layout is sort of a "case" of Kittie C card.  She does amazing layouts and gorgeous flowers on her cards.
