Our Daily Bread Scripture challenge

Our challenge this week on ODBD is Aqua or Topaz and to use a scripture as the focal point.  I'm using this pretty sentiment and border from Eternity
I love this beautiful corner Daffodil stamp from ODBD also and it's so much fun to color with copics.   I started this 6x6 card with Aqua CS and then added a pretty piece of DP that I got at JoAnn's.  The daffodil and saying and border were stamped on white and colored with copics.  I added a prima flower, some ribbon and bow at the top, the flourish and leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The large leaf flourish is the center portion of the Victoria Garden frame.
The leaves are the olive branches and I added some pretty silk flowers to finish the card.

Just Rite black, white and one other

Our challenge this week at Just Rite is black, white and one other color.  Now that Just Rite has some cling and clear stamps I am increasing my supply of their stamps and this vine background stamp is becoming one of my favorites.  I stamped it in black on white shimmer paper and added a splash of color to the edges and edged the white card in pink also.  I used the elegant frame set that is compatible with labels 10 for the sentiment.  I added some ribbon, peel off black borders and a double bow with gems to finish the card.  Be sure to check out the gorgeous cards on the blog and get inspired to join in the fun!!!

Classy cards sketch

This pretty sketch is from Classy Cards N Such.
I cut a 5" square card and then used the the pretty scalloped french flair die from Cheery Lynn.  I layered a piece of DP cut with scalloped coved rectangle from Cheery Lynn, then the  I just cut a rectangle to stamp the saying on from Just Rite's sympathy set.  I added some silver pen around the edges and some prima flowers and leaves.    Stop over to Classy Cards N Such blog and see the beautiful creations from the Design Team.

Release week challenge for Flourishes

This gorgeous Sweet Pea stamp set is from Flourishes I love this set and they are so much fun to color.  I used a lavender card, green background with a 5x7 cuttlebug folder and then I cut borders with a Martha Stewart punch.  The image is surrounded by a labels 15 and a silver pen edges it.  I tied a triple bow and added some gems to finish the card.    Stay tuned to Flourishes for their release week and sneak peeks starting next week.  Our inspiration for this week was this picture:

Cheery Lynn Doily challenge with Calla Lilies

This pretty frame is the Victoria Garden Doily Frame from Cheery Lynn.  This is a 5x7 card with printed vellum for the background. I cut the frame from white CS and added a piece of white behind it. I sponged spun sugar and peeled paint around the frame for some depth.  The flourish leaves are the center of the frame die cut. I used olive leaves and pine branches and sponged the peeled paint and crushed olive on all the leaves and added some glitter to some of them.  The gorgeous Calla Lily stamp set is from Flourishes    I embossed in gold and used H2O's to color them.  I made this for their spring challenge also.  I added a double bow and a MS butterfly with some gems to finish the card.  This also fits with the Best Buds challenge on Split Coast.

Flourishes Springtime challenge

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge is spring or autumn.  I chose spring with their new gorgeous calla lily set.  I gold embossed this image and used H2O's to color it. I used a labels 5 from Spellbinders to cut out the image and then the pretty Polynesian sails oval and in the center of that beautiful die is a doily circle. I cut the doily in half each direction to make the corners.  The flourishes through the center are the ends of beautiful lace rose flourish.   I cut several sets of the olive branches for the bottom under the bow.  I made a triple bow and colored a couple of pearls to match the flowers, added some gold beads to the corner to finish the card. I'm also entering this in the Cheery Lynn doily challenge.

Flourishes Bring Back the Beautiful

Flourishes Bring Back the Beautiful challenge this month is Spring or Autumn.  I chose spring with their gorgeous new He is Risen set.  I started with a 5.5" square card and then used a Martha Stewart around the page punch for the green layer.  I cut a square and used the pretty new Marianne Anja corner emboss and cut die.  Spellbinders label for the image and I stamped it and colored it with copics and then stamp a couple of the single lilies and popped them up.  Some pearls, a bow, and a MS butterfly finished the card.
