Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, Thank you
The challenge this week at Flourishes is a thank you card. Yesterday I watched the technique video on their blog and decided to try it. It makes a very nice background especially for masculine cards. I used the mix and mugs set for this card. I stamped the images and colored them with copics. The Thank you is a copper peel off and I added some ribbon and a buckle from Flourishes. I edged everything with a copper pen and then stamped the little sayings in Walnut stain. Be sure to check out the video for the background it's very quick and easy.

Shabby Tea Room, Color me Pretty
The color challenge on Shabby Tea Room is white/cream, pink, blue and add flowers and fabric. I made this 6x6 card, some paper from my stash and distressed the edges with TH distressed inks. I added a strip of lace that I also distressed with the tea dye ink. I cut a pretty Swedish spring oval, distressed the edges and put a copper peel off thank you in the center and pearls around the edge. The beautiful Victorian Romance Flourish was used in the corner. I made the leaves from the new Flourish Leaf Strip and added some distressed inks to those also. The butterflies are from the Exotic small set #2 and I added pearls to those. I made the flowers from Medium Rose and Miniature Rose. I added a gem to the center of each rose. All of these dies may be purchased at Cheery Lynn Designs. Be sure to stop by the Shabby Tea Room and check out the creations, they are always gorgeous!!!!

Flourish Timeless Tuesday, Flowers
The challenge on Flourishes this week is flowers. How appropriate since they make the most gorgeous flowers on the market!!! I stamped their gorgeous calla lilies and colored them with copic markers,RV00, R81, R83, leaves were G21, BG93 and then cut them out. I used a pretty Marianne cut and emboss folder and then a Marianne border along the bottom of the card. I edged this with a copic marker and some pretty peel off borders. For the finishing touch I added some liquid pearls on all the dots and some of the edges. Check out the beautiful flowers on Flourishes website and blog and then join in the fun!!!! You may win a gift certificate to the store. My inspiration for this card comes from Leanne's blog. She is amazing with the Marianne dies.

The challenge this week on Cheery Lynn Design Challenge Blog is to add a door or window. I put some cream paper behind it and distressed the bottom half with TH distressed inks. I added the Victorian picket fence which I also distressed and added the grass border. The leaves are from the new flourish leaf border. I made the cute little pink flowers with the Cuties #3. I'm also entering this in the Shabby Tea Room's Garden Party challenge.

Anything but square
The challenge over at JustRite is anything but a square. I started this card using the scalloped circles from Cheery Lynn.
I added some pretty DP from my stash and it's an unusual color, it's really a purple but very greyish purple. I added some smaller circles and then stamped the Sympathy rose from JustRite stamps and colored it with copics, cut it out and mounted it on the top circle. This stamp set can be purchased at Classy Cards N Such. I added some new Cheery Lynn leaves from the Flourish Leaf Strip. This die is fantastic, you get several leaves on the same strip. I added some lace to the bottom and a cute creatable Folklore from Marianne dies. I added some pearls, Martha Stewart butterflies and a bow to finish this card. I'm entering this card in the following challenges.

Our Daily Bread Design sketch challenge
The challenge on Our Daily Bread Design is this sketch. I chose to use the stamp set, The mighty Sea for this challenge. I used some paper from GCD studio Ella Blue collection, added some brown and blue strips and ran the blue through the dot cuttlebug. I took a Swedish spring oval from Cheery Lynn Designs, then I did the same die in white and cut out the center part to stamp on. I stamped the image in Memento black and colored with copics. I added a bow and some bling pearls from Prima. I edged all the papers in a gold pen to finish this card. I'm also using this for the Split Coast Monthly Fan Club Challenge Life is like a box of chocolates by using the browns and beige.
