Flourishes Timeless Tuesday and Split Coast Challenges

This card is both challenges today. Flourishes challenge was to use lace on the card and the Technique challenge for Split Coast was to do a stained glass technique. I stamped the new sunflower on acetate and used glue and glitter on the back side of the acetate.  Lace, ribbon and peel off borders and corners with some yellow little gems finished the card.

Midnight madness 68 and Split Coast 287

Our challenge today on Priscialla's Midnight Madness blog was this sketch. Our technique challenge this week on split Coast was to use the stained glass effect. I chose a Flourish stamp, stamped in Staz On on acetate and then glue and glitter on the back side of this.  The shimmer is wonderful and I embellished it with some flowers, ribbon and a pretty butterfly.

One more 3-D flower card

I love the 3-D dufex holographic images from Our daily Bread Design. The challenge has to been to use punches or dies so this is using the new cuttlebug cut and emboss and the spellbinders oval. I wish you could see the shimmer on this flower, they are amazing and everytime you move the card it changes.  Gold mirror card on the background!!! Thanks to Sandy W for sending me some of these backgrounds, I have to get this folder!!

Our daily bread challenges

Our daily bread challenges this week were to use a bird on our card and today's was to use a punch or die cut. I combined the two challenges and used one of their gorgeous new dufex holographic 3-D stickers to make this card.  Sizzex die cut for the fan and MS punch for the corner and birds. I ran the fan thru the cuttlebug and used a gold leafing pen along the edges. The paper is from basic grey porcelain and the ribbon is from Flourishes velvet and lace collection.

Copics to color it and the ribbon is made from satin, I bought it, did not make it. Some bling added to finish the card. The background is rainbow vellum run thru the cuttlebug.

Midnight madness and Our daily bread design challenge

Our challenge sketch this week on Priscilla's midnight madness blog was fun and very different.  On the Our daily bread design blog it was to use three of something so I added an extra triangle to this sketch for both challenges.  This beautiful paper is from Anna Griffin's collection and the stamp of wheat is from ODBD. I used gold peel offs, mirror card for the border and filigrees and some lace for the corner.  Be sure to visit those blogs and see the amazing artwork.

More scenic creations

Craft secrets and Midnight Madness challenges

The sketch today is from Priscilla's Midnight madness, check out the fantastic team there.   I used a cotton scrap by Crafty secrets since our challenge there is fabric.  I don't have fabric laying around since I don't sew anything so I hope this qualifies. LOL
