Cheery Lynn Vintage and Stampin Sisters in Christ Time
The challenge over at Cheery Lynn this week is a vintage look. Stampin Sisters in Christ is Time, there is a season for all. I started this 5x7 card with a cuttlebug clock folder and sponged some oak brown ink over the raised portions. The clock stamp and saying is from Our Daily Bread Design Time set. I used the silver circle and inverted scalloped circle dies from Cheery Lynn for this and sponged ink around the edges to distress them. The corners are from Cheery Lynn's Lace corner Deco F I added the mini fanciful flourish from Cheery Lynn and sponged all of these with the oak brown ink. The die for the saying is from cuttlebug and it too was sponged for distressing. Check out the pretty cards on both Cheery Lynn and Stampin Sisters in Christ.

I added lots of pearls and gems to finish the card. I will also be using this for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge of birds.

The background is a Cheery Lynn poinsettia plate and I used the Faux Patina technique from the resources on Split Coast stampers. The butterfly is from small exotic butterfly set and I added some silver pen around the edges and pearls to finish everything.

Springtime challenges
This cute card is for several of the springtime or Easter challenges. Cheery Lynn is Easter, Joan's Garden is Easter and Stampin Sisters in Christ.
The Split Coast challenge is to crop your image.
I watched the video on Amazing paper grace on making the card 5x7 vertically and tried it for this card. I cut some pretty embossed and shimmery K&Co paper for the background and it has turquoise and green with tiny little purple flowers on it. I cut my image from Fred She Said with Spellbinders label and then backed it with the Cheery Lynn Polynesian sail oval. The center of the die has a gorgeous circle doily and I cut it up for the corners. I colored the image with copics and sponged around the die cut. I added some Cheery Lynn olive leaves and prima flowers with a Cheery Lynn butterfly and pearls to finish the card.

Center step Belleek Valentine
One of the challenges that I made this card for is the center step card challenge on Flourishes blog. I started the card with Stardream white gold card stock, it's a gorgeous cream with gold shimmer. I inked up my Cuttlebug for the layers with Antique linen distressed ink and ran it thru the machine. This is for the Technique challenge on Split Coast which is to make a card like Belleek pottery. This beautiful heart stamp is From the heart set from Flourishes latest release. I stamped it with Antique Linen and cut it out with the spellbinders straight heart die, they fit this image perfectly. I edged all the layers with a Krylon 18k gold pen and then added some peel off lace and pearls along the bottom and some pretty flowers, butterflies from Michaels. The leaves and ferns are punched out of the white gold CS with a MS punch, and then I added some antique linen ink on them. The letters are gold glitter letters from Michaels. Stampin Sisters in Christ and Our Daily Bread Design
Our challenge today on Stampin Sisters in Christ is use a flower on our card, it has to be stamped not a stick on flower. I just received my new flower stamps from Our Daily Bread Design and their challenge is use yellow and ivory. Well my camera is not cooperating!! The background paper is white gold which is very creamy ivory and the flower soft is citrus and has lots of yellow in it. I also used the sentiment from ODBD newest release this month and the die cut to match. I colored the flowers with copics first and then added the flower soft and some stickles to the leaves. Be sure to check out the DT cards on both sites as they are just fabulous!
