Things with Wings

I made this for the Things with Wings challenge at Just Rite.  I used the beautiful Iris Vintage Labels 4 with matching die for this card and spellbinders dies for the corners and backing.  I colored the image with copics and added the pretty spellbinder butterfly after I ran the paper through the cuttlebug. Some gems finished the card.

Just Rite Anything Goes

The challenge on Just Rite is Anything Goes. You can use your favorite stamp set and then tell them why you like this set.  I used the clear With Sympathy set and I love this set because it can be used for anything. The roses are beautiful and there are lots of sayings for get well, thinking of you, prayers etc but these roses can be used for pretty much any card.   All of the die cuts are Marianne and I added some pearls and a bow to finish the card. The roses are colored with copics, RV52, RV63 and the leaves are YG03 and YG63.  I added some gold pen around the edges.

I added lots of pearls to finish the card. I'm also entering this in the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge lots of embellishments.

Light and Dark, Stampin Sisters in Christ

The challenge this week at Stampin Sisters in Christ is Light and Dark.  I chose Black and White for  mine.  I used a 5x7 cuttlebug folder Madison for the background and inked up the top side with Marvy Black ink before I ran it through the Vagabond. The image and die cut are from the Cast all your cares from Just Rite and it matches the labels 16 nestie.   I added the Celtic oval frame and used the flourishes in the center also from Cheery Lynn.  I also used Olive leaves and Fanciful flourish and added some stickles to the leaves.  I added a black and white prima fabric flower and colored a pearl with a black copic marker.  I added a Martha Stewart butterfly with black pearls down the center.,  I finished the card with a black holographic border.  I'm also entering this card in the Cheery Lynn add a flourish challenge.

Just Rite Sketch Challenge 66

This sketch was our challenge at Just Rite.  I used their beautiful new stamp set Cast all your cares.  It works with Spellbinders labels 16 which is what I used to cut out the image and the yellow backing. Then I used the Spellbinders big scalloped circles small for the purple layer.  I used a Martha Stewart punch and wove ribbon through it. I added a prima flower with MS leaf and fern punch. I trimmed everything in a gold pen and gold peel off border.  Be sure to check out the new stamps from Just Rite.

Prayers for Rose

My wonderful sweet little old neighbor has been in the hospital and is recovering at her daughters now and I wanted to send a card to her. I used the new sympathy and prayers set from Just Rite Stamps for this card and used the Split Coast Belleek technique to make the background for this.  I know the Belleek is suppose to be more like taupe and cream but her eyesight is not as good as it use to be so I chose the tumbled glass distress ink for this instead.  I added some pearls and ribbon and the die cut is the custom die from Just Rite that matches this set of stamps and the border stamp which I chose not to use.  I colored the roses with copics, remember when you refill your copics only fill them about 1/2 to 2/3 full, I had to grab a paper towel and let mine drip because I got them too full and they were bleeding all over the place.

Fan Club Interactive and more

Well this card is NOTHING like I had in mind when I started it.  I looked at several of the challenges this week and decided to try and incorporate several into this card and then went looking for paper to start with.  I"m always stamping and coloring my image and then trying to find paper to go with it so I thought I would chose the paper first this time.  The map of the Earth is from Kaiser Craft Vintage Timeless 6.5x6.5.  Since I'm using my new stamps from Just Rite and their color challenge this week is beige, brown, teal and aqua I figured I may as well use those colors again.  The saying on the outside is from their sympathy set and I used the matching die cut around it.  I used copper peel off borders and some new pearls and rhinestones  from Michaels to jazz it up some.  I cut a 1.5" square and turned it on the diamond and cut the asymmetrical corners. I will add the inside of the card under my description.   This is going to these challenges  Just Rite
Dirty Dozen fan club
Mind your manners and word play "CARE"   Cardstock, Asymmetrical, Rhinestones, Earth
Stamping Sisters in Christ, something new  new stamps, new paper pack
The inside of the card I used a saying from the sympathy set but used the border from the Easter Blessings set just to mix it up.

Just Rite Inspiration challenge

Our challenge for the Just Rite blog  is a gorgeous picture of creams, teals, and browns.  For this card I used the gorgeous Shabby Chic labels 4 stamp set with labels 4 matching die from Spellbinders.  I stamped the image on White Gold prism paper and sponged Caribbean blue around it.    The doily die cut is French pastry from Cheery Lynn Designs and I finished the card with paper from Close to my heart and ribbon and bling from Michaels. The flowers and green leaves are prima and the gold ferns are a Martha Stewart punch on gold mirror card.
