Heartfelt wishes

I made this pretty pastel card for the challenge on Power Poppy's blog and The Shabby Tea Room challenge.  I used the pretty bouquet from Power Poppy's Springtime collection stamp set.  I cut out the shape with a Sue Wilson die and edged in gold with some tumbled glass distress ink. I colored the images with copics and added stickles which don't show in the picture. The leaves, and flower are prima from Michaels. I added ribbon and gems and the sentiment is an old stamp from toomuchfun stamps. I added stickles to the flower at the bottom also.

Sister's birthday angel

I made this 6x6 card for my sisters birthday. The angel is set back into the card and a glitter page behind her.  I added pearls, flowers and leaves and feather and ribbon to finish this card. The angel die is a Sue Wilson die.

Power Poppy Camellias

This new digital stamp of the Camellias is from Power Poppy and it's beautiful!!!  I'm just learning how to use digis so I still have a lot to learn on changing the sizes etc but there is a tutorial on the Power Poppy blog to help you. They also have a "Peep of the Week" challenge that you can participate in and it's so much fun.  I printed the images off on cryogen white text weight paper and used copics in the RV color scheme to color the flowers. I added some tumbled glass distress ink around the edges and trimmed in a gold pen.  I left the far right panel blank so I can put a sentiment on it and sign it when I decide what I'm going to use it for.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the top and bottom of the card and also trimmed the whole card with a gold pen.  I hope you will hop over to the Power Poppy blog and participate.

Floating background with Cheery Lynn

I made this pretty floating background using the Dainty Dutch Doily Square die cut. I cut two of them and then sliced them from corner to corner and pieced them together face down on acetate.I cut the 5.5 square of acetate and then trimmed the corners of the die to make it fit.  I used 3-D tape to adhere it to the background paper so it looks like it's floating inside the frame.  I just cut a frame to cover the edges and added some holographic peel off borders. The saying is a peel off and I hand cut the tag and used a gold pen to edge it. I made a poinsettia and holly leaves from Cheery Lynn as well and layered them over the bow.
