Sweet Stamps Parchment Challenge
Our challenge today over at Sweet Stamps is to use parchment on our card. I heat embossed their gorgeous curly butterfly with white EP on vellum and then outlined it on the backside with a stylus. I mounted it on some pretty blue print paper by K&Co and a solid piece run through the cuttlebug. Added some pretty butterfly corners made with a MS border punch on gold mirror card, lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon and some scrunched ribbon from my stash. Gold pen to edge the borders with.

Priscilla and Stampin Sisters challenges this week
The sketch layout for this card is from Priscilla's Midnight madness and the vintage theme is from Stampin Sisters in Christ. The picture doesn't show the distressing very much but I distressed the DP with Tim Holtz inks for the antiqued look. The beautiful image is from Crafty Secrets floral collection. I'm so excited that Crafty Secrets is coming out with some gorgeous floral images and larger ones as well. They have several new things coming out in Feb and I can't wait!! I ran the shimmer bazill paper thru the cuttlebug and added some MS punched butterflies, some pretty bling from Michaels and the ribbon is from Really Reasonble Ribbon. Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to check out the blogs and stores for all the goodies to make this card.

Go with all your heart
I love this image from Flourishes, the technique is painting with stickles on split coast, Flourishes was to use flowers and the other challenge for them was red, pink and white. The sketch is from Priscialla's midnight madness. I stamped the image in memento black, used copics to color it and then went over all of it with stickles, cotton candy on the flowers, lime green on the leaves and patina on the bird. I used the dies direct die cuts from Cheery Lynn designs for the shapes, gems from Michaels and ribbon from Reasonable ribbon's monthy club. Please check out the links for these wonderful blogs and the inspiration on each of them. Reasonable ribbon is having a giveaway check it out.
