Our daily bread challenge, Wing it and Stampin Sisters in Christ, Peace

Our challenge this week on ODBD blog is to wing it! I thought their image with this bird was perfect for this.  I'm making lots of sympathy cards and others for our church bazaar and hope they make some money for missions from them. Our challenge on the Stampin Sisters in Christ blog this week is about "peace" I think this is a peaceful looking card and knowing our loved ones are in heaven brings a little peace in the midst of sorrow.  Copics to color this and airbrush it, spellbinders label 17 and the pretty DP is from g c d studios from Hobby Lobby.  Some beautiful silk ribbon and the corners were made by cutting 1 1/2 inch squares, then turn them point to point cut them to make trianges from them and use a MS border punch to get matching corners. Some pretty soft blue pearls and it's all done. Thanks for stopping by and please visit the blogs for the DT's cards, they are always fabulous!

Stampin Sisters in Christ, Faux stitching challenge

I needed another sympathy card today, I used white and gold mirror card for this one and peel off borders for the Stitching for the challenge on
Stampin Sisters in Christ, this week.  The DT cards are just gorgeous so be sure to check them out.   Cuttlebug background and MS around the card punch for the butterflies.

Our Daily Bread Design White and Bright

Our challenge today at Our Daily Bread was to use only white except for the image and embellishments.  I used their cross on the spellbinders cross dies, Martha Stewart score borard and her around the card punch.  By the way her score board is only $20 at Michaels and if you get a coupon it's only $15, best one I've ever used, she has 1/8" lines and it's awesome.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, Spotlighting, Split Coast Totally Trendy

This Triptych card was made for Flourishes spotlight technique this week. There are three of the little flowers that I cut out and put in uncolored although it's hard to see in the picture. I used frosted stickles on them to highlight them.  K&Co papers and MS border punch and Spellbindrs die cuts.   I am also using this for the Dirty Dozen interactive Totally Trendy challenge this month as well.  Did you know that for just a few dollars a year you can get so much more from Split Coast Stampers, the extras and not having to wait until your image is approved is so worth the few dollars.  Come and join in the fun!!
