The Shabby Tea Room, anything goes

I absolutely love vintage/shabby but have a hard time with it.  After seeing the winners card on The Shabby Tea Room,  I decided to try and case it somewhat.  I used a 6x6 card, several papers from DCWV and edged them in silver pen.  The pretty mesh border is from Cheery Lynn Designs.   The cute little die in the center is a center piece of the Anja Square by Marianne dies.  I added lots of bling to the card with lace, flowers, leaves, baby's breath and pearls.  I didn't have the same elements as Kathy's card but she gave me great ideas on making it more vintage, thanks so much Kathy!!

Think Spring for Cheery Lynn Designs

The Challenge on Cheery Lynn is "think spring"  I love all the wonderful dies that Cheery Lynn has to bring your cards to life. I started this 6x6 card using a 6x12 piece of light green cardstock.  The pretty papers are from DCWV and I edged them all in gold pen.  The inverted scalloped oval was used for the center panel and a peel off saying.  I used the ribbon eyelet border on the side panels in a peach colored cardstock and ran soft turquoise ribbon through it.  The outside panels are decorated with the miniature and medium rose strips, rose leaf strip, flourish leaf strip.  The center panel has the rose leaf strip, fanciful flourish and mini fanciful flourish and the flower is the fantastic daisy strip.  The darling butterflies are from the exotic butterflies small.

The flowers and leaves are covering the Victorian Picket Fence also from Cheery Lynn. The Shabby Tea Room, Pink

I made this pretty card for the "pink" challenge on The Shabby Tea Room.  It's a 6x6 card and I used some pretty paper from Sparkling Spring by Prima.  The beautiful dies are from Anja's square and you can get them from Ecstasy Crafts or Joan's Garden.  The leaves are prima and pretty flowers are Cheery Lynn's medium and miniature rose strips.  I need a light box to photograph my cards, the flowers actually match the center dies much better than the photo shows.  I added lots of pearls and colored a lace strip with copic marker to match the papers.
