Cheery Lynn Guest Designer, Non traditional Christmas colors

I'm honored to be the guest designer on Cheery Lynn today.  The theme is non-traditional Christmas colors and I love that!!  I started this 6x6 card with the scalloped French Flair, then added a layer of embossed paper with the silver French Flair.  I used the new lacey tree and made 3 of them so I could attach them for a 3-D look.  The corners are holly leaves from the new holly leaf strip and I love this leaf, there are three sizes on the strip.  I added some pearl snowflakes to finish this card.  This second card uses the same lacey tree and back plate. The panel behind the tree is scalloped cove rectangle.   The top border is lace light deco border and I used some glitter glue to decorate it.  I topped the tree with the beautiful bow from the ornamental wreath set.   The corners are the gorgeous holly corners.

Last week as guest designer, Flourishes gold or silver

This is my last week as guest designer for Flourishes. It has been such an honor and fun this month.  The challenge this week is to use gold or silver on your card.  I made two cards for this challenge, this first one is using their gorgeous poinsettia and pine stamp. I colored it with copics and cut it out and layered it on the gold Marianne die cut using gold mirror card.  The background paper is metallic from my stash and added a bow and some bling.
This second card is also gold mirror card even if it does look like copper in the picture. This adorable skate stamp is from the snow day set and I stamped and embossed it in gold and added a spellbinders die and some bling.  Be sure to check out the gorgeous creations by all of the design team and join in the fun, you may win something!!!!

Casing Kitty's winter scene

After seeing this wonderful winter scene on Kitty's Blog I decided to try and case it.  I know it doesn't show in the picture but the trees are glittered with holographic glitter and they really look cool.   The trees are from Sutter and mountains and buck are from Stampscapes.  I used the copics and airbrush to color this, it was about a 30 min card.  Size is 5x7.

The challenge this week at Flourishes is a progressive challenge, the sketch, then monochromatic color, designer paper and gems.   I didn't have time to make 4 separate cards so I combined all the steps in this card.  I started with a 5.5 inch sq card, added some adhesive paper from JoAnn's for the background.  I used Marianne dies for the circles and spellbinders poinsettia and Cheery Lynn leaves. The Poinsettia and pine image was colored with copics and the berries were colored with Spica pen.  I added some silver peel off borders and corners and a bow and dove to finish the card.  Make sure you hop over to Flourishes for a chance to win some of the new release stamps!!!!
