"Royal Challenge"

Our challenge today at Creative Belli is make a card for the Royal Wedding this week. Either something for a wedding or the color Purple, or crowns or whatever is Royal.  I used an old Me and Carrie Lou carriage stamp for this.  I finished the scene with Beeswax castle and some Stampscapes, the fan and hat are also Me and Carrie Lou, added some ribbon and bling. I colored this scene with copics and then scanned it so I could print it off smaller.  Be sure to check out the Design team cards as they are fabulous, all DT's are listed on the right side of my blog.

MMSC101

This was a fun sketch, check out the beautiful cards on Priscialla's blog.  I used this beautiful new set from Flourishes for this card, I think those boots are adorable.  I colored them with copics and then used a Martha Stewart big punch for the pink flower borders. some bling and nestabilities to finish this.

Timeless Tuesday 115, sketch

This wonderful sketch and stamps are from Flourishes blog.      I love the gorgeous orchids on this new set, colored with copics.  I used a cuttlebug border across the bottom and up the side. The doily and other dies are from
Cheery Lynn Designs.  I cut some corners and added a little bling.  Be sure to check out the Team cards over on Flourishes. As always they are spectacular!

Sweet Stamps, Sympathy

I tried several pictures of this card to get the color correct, the ribbon actually matches much better than this.  Our challenge at Sweet stamps was to make a sympathy card which is always very easy for me as I need lots of them in this elderly community we live in.  I think these new Marianne Designables cut and emboss folders are perfect for so many things.  They are available from Sweet stamps as is the saying.  She has a lot of very nice vertical sayings which are hard to find.  Check out the design teams cards, I know for a lot of you sympathy is a hard card to make.  I used the coordinations paper and sanded the embossed part a little bit to bring out the core color.  Gold mirror card is behind the embossed cut outs and the saying.

Our Daily Bread Design Sketch and Flower soft

This beautiful image is from ODBD, flower soft toppers.  I layered it according to their sketch but the image is so large is kind of hides some of the layout.  I added pretty blue and green flower soft to this.  Gold peel off's and some pretty paper. Be sure to visit their blog and check out the gorgeous cards there.

Stamping Sisters in Christ Round card challenge

Our challenge today on Stampin Sisters in Christ is to make a round card.  I used Cheery Lynn Designs straight and scalloped XL stacker dies on this card. The pretty K&Co paper on the top and the swirls were cut with a Marianne Die from Sweet Stamps.   Some bling from Michaels and sayings and it's all done.  Be sure to check out the beautiful DT cards on their blog.  Be sure to check out these Cheery Lynn stackers, you can make large shaped cards with these and you don't need a fancy expensive larger machine to do it. I used my cuttlebug and this card is about 5.5 inches across!! Just fold your paper and lay the top of the die up a little bit so the fold doesn't cut thru.
