A few scenes from my retreat!

These are just a few of the scenes that I made during my annual scenic stamping retreat.  I had 12 gals here from several states and we had a wonderful week of stamping, laughing, eating and fun!!  The stamps are many different companies, Stampscapes, Sutter stamps, Beeswax and probably more companies for some of the smaller stamps.  I colored them with copics and the airbrush.  Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy them.

Baby it's cold outside

This cute snowman card is for the challenge on Split Coast Stampers Dirty Dozen interactive.  I used this cute little old Northwoods rubber snowman 2004 stamp and masked them, colored with copics and Spica pens. I stamped the Stampscapes mountains and the Sutter trees. I used the air compressor and sprayed the copics around the card and then added some white dots with white liquid pearls and glitter.

Casing Kitty's winter scene

After seeing this wonderful winter scene on Kitty's Blog I decided to try and case it.  I know it doesn't show in the picture but the trees are glittered with holographic glitter and they really look cool.   The trees are from Sutter and mountains and buck are from Stampscapes.  I used the copics and airbrush to color this, it was about a 30 min card.  Size is 5x7.

Scenic stamping retreat

I attended a three day scenic stamping retreat last weekend.  It was so much fun and I made lots of great scenes to use to make cards.
Most the stamps in these two scenes are Stampscapes.  I colored them with copic markers and the airbrush system.  Unfortunately you can't see all the glitter on the waterfall one it's really pretty all glittered up!

Christmas ornament scenes

I made all of these Christmas cards to give to our nursing home for prizes.  They have an incentive program for the patients, for every activity they attend and participate in they get points and then they get to go shopping once a month with their points. It's a wonderful way to get patients out of their rooms and active.  Most of the stamps used are from Stampscapes, I think this buck is from Sutter stamps. All colored with copic markers.  The ornament shape is Spellbinders 2010 ornament die.

A pirates "real" treasure

What a treasure for a pirate to find!! The challenge this month on our Stampscapes II yahoo group is going to be pirates. I was giving them some ideas even if they don't have pirate stamps.  The Mermaid is from Rubber Stamp Ave and the rest of the stamps are Stampscapes.  I colored them with copic markers and the air compressor system.  I'm also using this for the Craft a Scene beach theme.

Craft a scene spring flowers

Our challenge for the Craft a scene this month is spring flowers.  I used a variety of stamps for this challenge. The castle is from Beeswax, fountain and lady are Sheena Douglas, fence unknown and flowers are Heart felt creations. I used some little grass stamps and birds from Stampscapes.  All images were colored and airbrushed with copics and I added some fine flower soft for the flowers and bushes by the castle. The water in the fountain has diamond stickles on it to make it shine.

Moon light escapades

I needed a masculine card today so I used my new Sutter stamps and some Stampscapes for this cute scene.  I stamped the right side rocks first and masked them and stamped the little boy over them. I stamped the mountains and then the sheep on top. I stamped the grassy area last, colored everything with copics except the sky which is done with distressed ink.  I added some layers for the split coast sketch challenge this week and some bling to finish it.

Craft a Scene winter challenge

There's a new scenic blog with challenges on it and this challenge is make a winter scene.  Check out the new "Craft a Scene"
I stamped the fence with house and right fence first, masked them and then stamped the edges from Sutter's big path.  I masked the house and windmill and stamped the mountains up so I could stamp the soft hill in between the two.  I colored it all with copics and the airbrush system and added the horse and rider and stickles with white glitter for the snow.

Winter window

Our challenge on the Creative Belli blog is to do something wintery.  When I got this window die cut from
Our daily bread design I knew I wanted to use it with the scenic stamps.  I trimmed one the bars out of the window so you could see the cabin better. The cabin is from Stampscapes and the mountains are from Sutter.
I colored the image with copic markers and added some MS fern with red gems from Michaels.  I used a cuttlebug on the background.

Brayer class

I took a class this weekend using a brayer and we had a great time.  We brayered the cards first and then let them dry some before adding the stamps.  Most of the scenic stamps are from Stampscapes and she mixed in some others, but I don't know where they were from.

Creative Belli Challenge, Branches!

Our challenge this week at Creative Belli was to use some kind of branches on our cards. I decided to use Stampscapes, Sutter, and Heartfelt creation stamps to make this cute scene.  I stamped in black on cryogen white paper and then copics to color and airbrush it. The fence and Eagle stamp were in my stash, not sure who made those.  Be sure to check out my DT sisters on the Creative Belli challenge and take a look at their fantastic creations!!!!
