Classy Cards 3-D challenge

Our challenge this week on Classy Cards is make a 3-D image card.  I used some Dufex flowers I had on hand but if you want to make a gorgeous 3-D card she has several beautiful sheets of flowers and kits on
this page!!    I used a spellbinders label 20 for the backing on the image and edged it with a silver pen.  The card is from my stash and I think I ordered it from the UK.  I took my MS butterfly punch and punched out a butterfly on the edge of the Dufex paper that the flowers were on.  Check out the beautiful pages, cards and die cuts on Classy Cards.

Classy cards sketch

This pretty sketch is from Classy Cards N Such.
I cut a 5" square card and then used the the pretty scalloped french flair die from Cheery Lynn.  I layered a piece of DP cut with scalloped coved rectangle from Cheery Lynn, then the  I just cut a rectangle to stamp the saying on from Just Rite's sympathy set.  I added some silver pen around the edges and some prima flowers and leaves.    Stop over to Classy Cards N Such blog and see the beautiful creations from the Design Team.

Doily challenge, and many more

Our challenge this week at Cheery Lynn is to use doilies!!  I took this challenge very seriously, I started by cutting the French Pastry doily and using the Canadian Kaleidoscope and cutting it apart to make the oval on the top and bottom behind the French Pastry.  I then cut a standard circle from Cheery Lynn, laid it over the ribbon and stamped this pretty circle with a butterfly in the center from Botanical butterflies from  Classy Cards I cut an Exotic butterfly medium #2 and #3.    The butterfly #3 fit perfectly over the butterfly on the image. I added some gems to finish the butterflies.  The corners are the inside doily die that is part of the Polynesian Sails Oval and I cut it apart to make the corners.  The Fanciful flourish frames the doily and I added some prima flowers and a pearl stick pin.  Have you seen the beautiful flower dies from Cheery Lynn, they are next on my wish list, you can make gorgeous matching flowers with these dies!! Check them out!
I will be adding this to the following challenges

Classy Cards N Such

I just found this wonderful blog called Classy Cards N Such.  I love the challenges on here and this week's is flowers on your cards.  This card is made with the pretty rose from Just Rite's sympathy set, I just love this flower.  I colored it with copics, cut it out and then colored and cut two extra roses to pop up on the image.  I took a 6x12 piece of cardstock, scored at 2, 4, 8, 10 to make this card.  The pretty paper is from Fab Scraps, High Tea collection, gorgeous florals and matching papers, this can be purchased at Joan's garden.   I cut pieces for the borders and the inside and edged them with a gold pen.  I used Cheery Lynn dies for this card,
