If you are looking for the Belli challenge please scroll down. Our challenge this week at Flourishes is to use the "other" stamps in the package. We all tend to use the focal point stamp and forget the others. This bunny scene is the focal point stamp in the group but I used the other stamps of the bird on a branch of flowers and the bird nest and saying from that group as a background. It's hard to photograph this because it's tone on tone. I also used the ribbon tutorial on Flourishes blog to outline the focal image. A MS border punch on the corners and her bird punch and some gems and peel offs finish the card. Michaels is carrying a whle new line of gems, really pretty and reasonable. I am trying to make a lot of cards that are easier to mail as most of these will be donated to the church for a fundraiser, I think I have about 125 so far. I added a second card for this challenge also. This nice saying is also part of this set.

Have you seen these?
Have you seen these new Marianne Designables? I love these new cut and emboss folders. They are about 4.5x6.5 or close to that. I love them and they can be purchased at Sweet Stamps. I finished the card and then decided that the tulip ribbon does NOT fit with the card but oh well it's already stuck down and I tried to get it off but no go. The stamps are also from Sweet stamps and I used an oval from Cheery Lynn Designs which Sweet Stamps sells also. I used copics to add just a touch of color and edge the oval. Stampin Sisters in Christ
Our challenge this week on Stampin Sisters in Christ is to dig out those things we treasure or hoard and USE them. I dug out my pyrmids 3-D stickers, I do tend to buy these and then not use them. I think these came from Our daily bread design 3-D punch outs. My card is 5" square, used a Martha Stewart around the card punch on the green layer and a scalloped square spellbinder die on the pink. some cute butterflies from Michaels or HL and it's done.
Sweet stamps think spring
This pretty frame stamp is from Sweet Stamps, it works great with paper and ink or it's also gorgeous done on vellum. Our challenge today is to think spring and boy do we need that. Very long winter and lots of shoveling snow. I used cryogen white paper, stamped in memento black ink and colored with copics. Some ribbon and butterfly bling and a gold peel off and it's all done. Be sure to check out the blog today, gorgeous creations over there.

Gems and butterflies from Michaels.
Flourishes The Cut Above Challenge
What a fun challenge at Flourishes today. We are to use die cuts, punches etc to make our card. My Cheery Lynn XL stacker dies worked perfect for this challenge. You don't need a larger machine to make these and this card is approximately 5.5 inches. I just scored and folded an 8.5x11 piece of cardstock and positioned the die a little above the top fold, ran it thru the cuttlebug and then added the extra die cuts. I used the scalloped XL circles and the French pastry doily. Some memories paper and lots of bling from Michaels. The stamp is from the new set, From the Desk of and I colored it with copics. Sponged some soft blue around the edges and then used a cuttlebug folder to emboss it.

Technique Lovers Challenge
Splitcoast TLC315 is to mkae a card that is not a standard shape. For this card I used the XL stackers from Cheery Lynn Designs. I folded an 8.5x11 piece of CS over and just positioned the die cut above the top fold a little. I used the next size down for the green layer and then ran it thru the sticher plate in the French flair also. These beautful flowers and oval are punch outs from
Our Daily Bread Design They are part of the new flower soft kits. Actually I didn't use the flower soft on this one. You just punch them out and layer with pop dot tape. The little butterflies are peel offs from Michaels.

Stampin Sisters in Christ and Our Daily Bread Design
Our challenge today on Stampin Sisters in Christ is use a flower on our card, it has to be stamped not a stick on flower. I just received my new flower stamps from Our Daily Bread Design and their challenge is use yellow and ivory. Well my camera is not cooperating!! The background paper is white gold which is very creamy ivory and the flower soft is citrus and has lots of yellow in it. I also used the sentiment from ODBD newest release this month and the die cut to match. I colored the flowers with copics first and then added the flower soft and some stickles to the leaves. Be sure to check out the DT cards on both sites as they are just fabulous!

New paper and ODBD stamps
Our challenge today at ODBD blog is to use pink, blue, yellow and ivory, at least a couple of these colors, well this new paper Madeline by Prima just fit the challenge perfectly. I used one of the new
3-D punch out flowers from Our Daily Bread Design. I think these flowers are just gorgeous. You just carefully pop them out and layer them by numbers. I also used their new die cut on this card and a Martha Stewart border punch to cut the corners. I made 1.5" squares, turned them to a diagonal and cut them in half, then dropped the longer part into a MS border punch to cut the edges for the corners. Some bling from Michales and it's all finished. Be sure to check out the DT cards at ODBD blog, they are just beautiful.

Sweet Stamps sketch challenge
I took some artistic liberty with this sketch because I couldn't bear to completely cover this gorgeous paper by Prima. The sketch is for Sweet Stamps blog and I used Stacey's pretty stamp embossed in white on rainbow vellum which she does sell also. I colored carefully with copics as they will color or melt the EP, layered it with soft yellow and then the doily die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs and I believe Stacy sells those also. Added some bling from Prima and Michaels. I have tried every vellum glue, tape etc, etc, etc on the market and today I used clear silicone adhesive and smeared it on the back of the vellum, then when I layered it on the circle I turned it over and pressed with my fingers and finally a vellum glue that does NOT show thru. I love it!!! Cheap at Walmart in the glue and paint section, they use it for aquariums.
Midnight Madness sketch 93 and Crafty Secrets Green challenge
Every Tuesday there is a new sketch pattern with fancy and simple designs on Priscilla's blog. Check them out and her DT's are amazing. Our challenge this week on Split Coast's Crafty secrets is to use some green on our card so I chose this darling image from their Valentine or love scraps and the soft green matches it so well. Prima paper, lots of ribbon and lace and gems from Michaels. The die cut is from Cheery Lynn Designs and this is the cove corner rectangle. I love the Crafty Secrets images and can't wait to get my new flower stamps that are on order, they are just beautiful!!!
