Our challenge today on the Dirty Dozen is to use paints on the image. I chose this gorgeous Crafty Secrets rose and painted it with acrylic paints. Gold peel offs finish the card. The beautiful sketch for this card came from Priscilla's Midnight Madness blog!! Be sure to check out all the DT's cards on these sites, they are always amazing!!!
Dare to get dirty, SCS Dirty girls challenges
I made this cute card today for the Dirty Dozen challenge on Split Coast stampers. If you are not a paid member of SCS it is so worth the mere 25 per year. This is one of 5 challenges this week and we were to use Kraft paper on our card today. I'm also using this for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge of using a "creature" on our card. I love the birds and butterflies in this. Main image is from Backyard birds by Just Rite stamps. I had some of these stamps for years and never used them because I could NOT get them to stamp nicely. After a lesson last week I now LOVE these stamps and they work great if you get them to "snap" into place on the blocks. Paper is from Memories Minuet and the birds and butterflies are a MS punch.
