Our Daily Bread Design is to use your favorite sentiment or make a card with a sentiment on it. Unfortunately I need a sympathy card today for a friend, her mom died very suddenly. I love this
cross set from ODBD and it works so well with the spellbinders cross die cuts. I embossed it in gold and then antiqued it with old paper distressed ink. The sentiment is from
The Heartfelt Sympathy set.
I embossed it in gold and used the oval spellbinders behind both the image and sentiment. I added a l
eaf flourish from Cheery Lynn designs and the gorgeous paper is something new, fabric on paper, the texture is fantastic and it's so pretty. I got the paper at JoAnn's. It's from DCWV and it's adhesive fabric. Be sure to check out the fantastic creations on the

Who would think to put the leaves like this...It so works! I really like the cut out for the cross!!! And again, this background paper is a fav.
