Crafty secrets challenges pink ribbon and stitching

Our challenges today at Crafty secrets were to use a pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness and stitching on our cards. I used a stamp for the stitching as I don't have a sewing machine.I think this large sheet of Stitching stamps I picked up at JoAnn's fabrics or Michaels.   All images are from CS with some pretty DP from Basic Grey and some bling added.

Our daily bread challenges Oct 15

The challenges this week at Our daily bread were to use embossing powder and Anything goes with their stamps. I used this new fence and birdhouse. I stamped it in the center and then added the ends. Colored with copics and flower soft to the flowers. The congratulations is embossed in gold, those stamps are from the new Gina K designs that match the new Spellbinders labels.  This card is for my aunt who after about 50 years of nursing is retiring.

Copics to color, white snow glitter and some cute tree stickers. The snowflak around the card corner and border punch finishes it off. The paper is from Bo Bunny

Emerging image, Crafty Secrets 141

Gina K's stamp tv was about emerging leaves today, well I wanted to use this technique for my Crafty Secrets challenge and I didn't have leaves so I used their saying and branch and bird.  The CS challenge was to do something encouranging and this saying was as close as I could get to that.  Hop over to both sites and check out the wonderful ideas and play along. TH distressed inks, spellbinders die cuts, MS border punch for the corners and peel off border and gold pen to finish it. Background paper is Crafty secrets.
