Shine the light, Our daily bread
This pretty sketch is for the Shine the Light challenge on Our Daily Bread Design blog. There is always a chance to win free stamps at ODBD so come over and play along. The DT cards are always fabulous! I stamped this saying from The living bread set. The paper is from Kaiser English rose set, spellbinders die cuts and prima flowers and leaves with some ferns from a Martha Stewart punch.
Crafty Secrets and Dirty Girls, get out those paints
Our challenge today on the Dirty Dozen is to use paints on the image. I chose this gorgeous Crafty Secrets rose and painted it with acrylic paints. The beautiful paper is from K&Co journey and it matched the color perfectly. I used a spellbinders scalloped circle die behind the image, and a MS shell border punch and fern punch. Gold peel offs finish the card. The beautiful sketch for this card came from Priscilla's Midnight Madness blog!! Be sure to check out all the DT's cards on these sites, they are always amazing!!!
Dare to get dirty, SCS Dirty girls challenges
I made this cute card today for the Dirty Dozen challenge on Split Coast stampers. If you are not a paid member of SCS it is so worth the mere 25 per year. This is one of 5 challenges this week and we were to use Kraft paper on our card today. I'm also using this for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge of using a "creature" on our card. I love the birds and butterflies in this. Main image is from Backyard birds by Just Rite stamps. I had some of these stamps for years and never used them because I could NOT get them to stamp nicely. After a lesson last week I now LOVE these stamps and they work great if you get them to "snap" into place on the blocks. Paper is from Memories Minuet and the birds and butterflies are a MS punch.

Our Daily Bread Design Doily
Another pretty doily card for the challenge on
Our Daily Bread Design blog today. The two outside die cuts are from Marianne Design, scalloped circles, the center one is from ODBD Serve the Lord set with matching die cut. The paper is from K&Co and I used TH distress inks. MS border punch on the corners which are actually purple and light green. A pretty butterfly sticker finished the card.

Stamping in Time, Doilies
Our challenge this week on Our daily bread design blog is to use doilies. I chose this beautiful doily from Cheery Lynn Designs, then added the pretty doily from ODBD on the top. The stamp set is called
Serve the Lord it comes with the matching die. This is the Napkin fold from Splitcoast stampers tutorial and I used some Kaiser craft papers, MS around the card punch and border punch for the front piece. I haven't decided what kind of card this going to be so the inside sentiment and decorations are not done yet.

Brayer class
I took a class this weekend using a brayer and we had a great time. We brayered the cards first and then let them dry some before adding the stamps. Most of the scenic stamps are from Stampscapes and she mixed in some others, but I don't know where they were from.

Crafty secrets celebrate something new!
This gorgeous image is from Crafty Secrets postcard set. Our challenge this week on Crafty Secrets is celebrate something new. I love these images and they make such a cute card. I added some flowers, pretty papers from the Jack and Jill collection from Prima. I used a MS lace border punch to make the corners and added some pretty peel offs and a gem. the flowers are prima I think. Check out the gallery on Split Coast, there are gorgeous cards in there.
